STAR GAZING
Pine Mountain Observatory
About 30 miles SE of Bend. The observatory is open to the public May-Sept on Friday and Saturday night a $3 is encouraged, bring warm clothes, primitive camping available (no water)

CAVING AND TOURS

Lava River Cave: $5 for the Day Pass. Bring your own light (or pay an additional $3 to rent one). It’s located 12.5 miles south of Bend on Highway 97 (one mile past Lava Lands Visitor Center).
